Dr. Michael Eriksen is an international public health expert and educator with more than 30 years of experience. He is the Principal Investigator for the China Tobacco Control Partnership.  He is also the founding Dean of Georgia State University’s School of Public Health and Principal Investigator of the Georgia State Tobacco Center of Regulatory Science (TCORS).  He serves as Director of Georgia State University’s Partnership for Urban Health Research and Center of Excellence in Health Disparities Research. Executive Director – China Tobacco Control Partnership

Pamela Redmon brings a wealth of expertise to her role in the areas of national and international tobacco control. She is currently the Executive Director of the China Tobacco Control Partnership (CTP) and the Administrative Director of the Georgia State University Tobacco Center of Regulatory Science (TCORS). The CTP was established in 2008 to reduce the health, social, environmental, and economic burden of tobacco use in China. The program has funded 22 city government organizations to establish comprehensive and sustainable tobacco control programs in their cities. The CTP also collaborates and partners with other international and in-country partners on various tobacco control initiatives in China. More >>>

Co-Principal Investigator – China Tobacco Control Partnership

Dr. Jeffrey P. Koplan is an internationally renowned public health leader with more than 30 years of experience. Dr. Koplan is Vice President for Global Health at Emory University, Co-Principal Investigator for the China Tobacco Control Partnership, and Co-founder of the International Association of National Public Health Institutes (IANPHI). He founded the Emory Global Health Institute (EGHI) in 2006, served as its Director until March, 2013, and continues to be actively involved in its daily operations in his role as Vice President for Global Health. Prior to founding EGHI, Dr. Koplan was Vice President for Academic Health Affairs at Emory University. More >>>

Director – ThinkTank Research Center for Health Development

Dr. Wang Ke-an is the founder of ThinkTank Research Center for Health Development which is the first non-profit and non-government research center approved by Ministry of Health and has been the Director of the Center since 2001. He has received several awards for his achievements in public health and research work, especially the National Expanded Program on Immunization and Polio Eradication Initiative in China. He received an award by World Health Organization in recognition of outstanding contribution to tobacco control in 2007. He is involved in consultation in the field of public health and application of appropriate health technology and is involved in management and technical assistance of key tobacco control projects in China supported by the China Tobacco Control Partnership (CTP) and Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.
